Course Overview
This Advent house groups consist of a series of six sessions with prayer and scripture reflections. The sessions are a preparation for Advent; the Advent theme of the GIFT of oneself to the baby Jesus, God who became flesh for us and our salvation.
The sessions are about our response to the call to be disciples; about a way of life, being rather than doing.
The intention is that sessions should give people a deeper experience of being in communion with each other in the more intimate settings of someone's house and a chance to get away from the commercialisation of Christmas.
Each session will last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes follow the structure show below:
