This web site is maintained by the Northeast Hampshire Pastoral Area Stewardship team.  The stewardship team consists of representatives from worshipping communities within the Pastoral Area and has been meeting since April 2009.

The role of the stewardship team is to act as catalysts encouraging and challenging ourselves and others to put God as the highest priority in our lives.  We are "leaven" within the Pastoral Area and our goal is to bring about an environment where stewardship can thrive.

We do this by offering suggestions to the Pastoral Area and the individual worshipping communities.  Where possible we aim to back up these suggestions with the resources to make them a reality and this web site is used as a repository for these resources.
[This] is a real time of stewardship, which is a spirituality which is becoming more and more one of the important features of the implementation of the Pastoral Plan and increasingly part of our diocesan culture. Stewardship begins with that attitude of gratitude. It's about recognising our gifts and using them for the Lord and for the community. It's about recognising and using our time, our talents and our treasure and it challenges us to use our gifts generously for God and for our brothers and sisters.
